Sibli is 18, and like many boys his age dreams of one day becoming a professional soccer player. Growing up in an underprivileged part of India has its challenges however, and opportunities for young people don’t come often or easily. Through the Freedom Center, Sibli has been given some hope of achieving his dream. The Center has provided Sibli soccer training and a uniform, as well as practical skills that will help him to find a job to support himself and his family. Freedom to Sibli is the chance to prove himself as a good person and be respected in his community.
