In a government housing development in Jora Mandir, in one of the many identical high-rise apartments, Lakshmi has big plans. After graduating from the Freedom Center's Beautician Program, she got a job at a high end beauty parlor and is working her way up. One day, she will open her own salon and give back to parents who have worked so hard for her. But for now, she is focused on what she needs to do and where she wants to go.
